On Saturday morning, The Arthritis Foundation’s Run/Walk to the festival will take place along the lakefront. The proceeds from this Run/Walk will support Arthritis Foundation’s search for a cure for “the nation’s most common cause of disability”. Click here to find out more information, to register, or to donate to the cause!
After you work up an appetite from the 5k, be sure to check out the endless options of Irish themed food. There will be over 45 food locations at the festival, with all the fish and chips, corned beef, and Irish soda bread you can imagine!
There are several ways to save on admission at Irish Fest too! On Thursday, the festival is partnering up with Hope House for school supplies donations in return for FREE admission. If you can’t make it for free admission on Thursday, don’t worry because tickets are just HALF PRICE on Friday, from open to close! All 5k participants will get FREE admission on Saturday until 3 p.m., so don’t miss your chance for that. Lastly on Sunday, there are THREE ways to save! You can:
1) Donate a non-perishable food item by 11 a.m.
2) Bring your valid college student I.D. for a $3 discount
3) Show proof of service for all active military and veterans for FREE admission. Thank you for your service.
