Haunted Houses in Milwaukee

  • Hartford Jaycees Haunted House
    A three-floor haunted farm house and scary haunted trail through the woods.

  • Darkside Haunted Adventure
    A five-attraction “screampark,” featuring a haunted mine, a sawmill, forest trail, corn maze and greenhouses.

  • Hauntfest
    A freaky haunted house experience at the Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Milwaukee Graveyard Tour

VMP hosts Graveyard Tour with special tour guides from Historic Milwaukee Inc.

Saturday, Oct. 20th

The tour will visit the graves of famous Milwaukeeans including Fredrick Miller, Patrick Cudahy, the sites of fallen soldiers and the mounds of many lives lost on the sinking of the Lady Elgin. You will also see the impressive architecture and hear the history of several buildings and monuments on the cemetery grounds.

Fun Class Treats

Have the best treats of the school year for your child’s class!

Chocolate Chip Pizza

  • Start with a couple packages of pre-made chocolate chip dough.
  • Flatten and shape the dough onto a round pizza pan, ensuring that it is uniform thickness all around.
  • Bake the cookie until it is done but not hard, removing it from the oven.
  • Allow the pizza to cool and fill a couple of pastry bags with different types of frosting, Use the bags to decorate the pizza with a birthday message to the child and a border.
  • When it is time to eat the pizza, use a true pizza cutter and slice it up, one slice for each student.

Party Cones


  • 24-36 flat bottomed ice cream cones
  • 3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 t. flour
  • 1 package (8oz) cake mix
  • Vanilla or Chocolate frosting


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degres
  2. Place each ice cream cone upright in muffin cups
  3. in a small bowl, stir together chocolate chips and flour
  4. Prepare cake batter as directed on the package, stir in chips mixture.
  5. Fill each cone 1/2 full with batter
  6. Bake 25-30 minutes
  7. Cool completely, frost and garnish with sprinkles.

Jello Smiles

A great choice if food allergies are an issue!

  • Cut several oranges in half and scoop out the insides, leaving the peel intact.
    Mix jello according to package instructions, adding juice of the oranges.
  • Pour jello into empty peels.
  • Slice with a knife when firm.
