Ingredients: Apples and Slivered almonds
Instructions: Just quarter and core an apple, cut a wedge from the skin side of each quarter, then press slivered almonds in place for teeth.
Tips: If you’re not going to serve them right away, baste the apples with orange juice to keep them from browning.
Scallions Red or green pepper
Cheese sticks or slices
- Heat the oven to 350º F. For each mummy, spread a tablespoon of pizza sauce onto half of an English muffin (toast it first, if you like).
- Set olive slices in place for eyes and add round slices of green onion or bits of red or green pepper for pupils.
- Lay strips of cheese (we used a pulled-apart cheese stick) across the muffin for the mummy’s wrappings.
- Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the muffin is toasty.

What we are doing?
• Investing $6.5 million in expansion and renovation
• Adding two new wings to the west and north
1. A NEW ventilator care wing with 13 private beds*
2. A 16 bed Therapy Suite
• Constructing a new parking garage for our Independent Living Residents
• Remodeling two long-term care wings
• Remodeling 46 Independent Living Apartments
• Adding between 35 and 40 new staff (currently 145 employees)
Why are we doing it?
Our market research tells us there is a need for more affordable senior housing and health care on the city and county’s northwest corridor. As we add more space and services, we will be able to care for more patients and residents.
*Trinity Village’s sister facility in West Allis, The Village at Manor Park, currently staffs 23 ventilator beds. With the addition of 13 beds at Trinity Village, these two facilities will house over one-third of all the ventilator beds in the state of Wisconsin.
